Chelsea makes move to sign 20-goal a season Premier League powerhouse worth £40M

Chelsea have made contact with Brentford
about a possible move for powerhouse
striker Ivan Toney
Chelsea opted to let Romelu Lukaku leave the
club and head back to Italian football for the
next 12 months – with many believing that
he will not be returning from Inter Milan next
summer
The Blues then decided that Timo Werner
would also be allowed to depart the club and
after a few weeks of talks – the German star
opted to make the move back to the
Bundesliga with RB Leipzig
ChelseaFC have so many attacking options –
but they do not have that forward that will
hold the ball up – that will win things in the
air – that will offer the attack something
different – and that is why Toney has been
linked with the club
Brentford have slapped a £40million price
tag on their star man this summer knowing
that all the big clubs are eyeing up a
potential deal – especially as many believe
he would be a 20-goal a season hitman if he
made the step up
The Mirror says that Chelsea have made
contact with Brentford regarding a possible
deal for Toney
They know that they will be unable to keep
hold of the power should an offer arrive – but
they will not be budging too much on that
asking price – so Chelsea have been told that
they will have to pay some serious money.

Toney had a very good season for Brentford
last season and really proved that he is ready
to play for one of the big clubs in the Premier
League
We are surprised that ChelseaFC are not
making an official move yet – there are not
too many Blues fans out there that would
hate to see the big man arrive
He is the type of player that could bang in the
goals on a regular basis in the right squad –
and the Blues could be the right squad right?
