Chelsea given green light to sign €35m- rated Italy international

Chelsea are set to offer Christian Pulisic in the deal to
add forward Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma. The London
giants are not the only team interested in securing the
signature of the 23-year-old attacker, with Juventus
said to be keeping tabs on the forward as well.
Italy international joined the Giallorossi in the summer
of 2018 from Inter Milan and has since become an
integral part of the club’s squad. The Italian attacker
has represented Roma in 111 games, scoring 22 times
and providing 15 assists.
The Italian has become an important figure under
Mourinho and helped the Giallorossi win the Europa
Conference League last season. In all, Nicolo played
42 games for the Italian club across all tournaments
last term, scoring eight goals while providing nine
assists.
Zaniolo can play all along the attack, including as a
playmaker. Last campaign, Nicolo predominantly
played on the right wing and was also used as a
second striker in some matches. His exemplary
displays earned him interest from other European
clubs, including Juventus and Chelsea.
Nicolo is said to be interested in a move to Juventus,
but the Old Lady might have to fend off interest from
Chelsea. Chelsea are believed to be big admirers of
Zaniolo and are prepared to offer Pulisic in a possible
deal to add Nicolo. Pulisic has two years left on his
current deal with the Blues, as many as Nicolo Zaniolo
has on his Roma contract.
